Friday Following a morning pick up from your local area we travel by coach to your hotel. Depending on the length of the journey, you may have some free time in Windsor first, then continue on to the hotel for check–in, dinner and your overnight stay.
Saturday A full English breakfast to set you up for the day, then we set off for a full day in Windsor. There'll be plenty of time to explore the town, take a walk in Windsor Great Park or Windsor Forest, or even take a river cruise on the Thames from Windsor Promenade. If you want to visit Windsor Castle you should allow 2–3 hours to look around, and to avoid ticket queues we recommend that you pre–book tickets online at www.royalcollection.org.uk. We return to the hotel in the late afternoon for dinner and your overnight stay.
Sunday We depart for the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew after breakfast, the world's most famous botanic garden with stunning landscapes, glasshouses, historic buildings and a vast range of rare and beautiful plants. After a morning of horticultural inspiration, the coach will take you to central London where you will have free time during the afternoon and early evening for shopping or sightseeing. We return to the hotel in time for dinner and an evening's relaxation.
Monday After breakfast we check out of the hotel and head for Oxford, where we will spend the morning among the spires, steeples and flying buttresses. Most famed for its prestigious university, many of the 38 colleges are right in the centre of town and open to visitors, lots with free admission or a small entrance charge of £2–3 per person. Alternatively, you may prefer to just soak up the atmosphere and admire the architecture of Oxford's other iconic buildings including the Bodleian Library and the nearby Radcliffe Camera library. In the afternoon we rejoin the coach for the journey home.
